What the platform handles

Built around the physics and economics of real Energy Systems projects, not a generic energy calculator.

MILP optimal sizing
Minimises NPC subject to reliability constraints. Handles PV, BESS, wind, diesel generator, and H₂ storage in standalone or grid-tied mode.
Techno-economic analysis
Multi-scenario sensitivity across 11 parameters including PV CAPEX, BESS capacity, DC/AC ratio, albedo, and GCR, producing LCOE and CAPEX breakdowns.
Hourly dispatch simulation
8,760-hour dispatch results with power balance, battery SoC, unmet load and curtailment, visible in the results dashboard and embedded in reports.
Solar production modelling
Bifacial models, Fixed, single-axis, and dual-axis tracking. Full loss chain including soiling, shading, mismatch, wiring and availability.
Weather database integration
Direct online download, Meteosat MSG for Africa and Europe, GOES PSM for the Americas.
Pre-FEED PDF reports
Branded, auto-generated reports with site parameters, scenario comparison table, KPI cards, and dispatch charts, ready for client delivery.

One platform, across the full project lifecycle.

Every hybrid project moves through the same eight phases. Today's tools serve them in fragments. Our vision is to serve them as one continuous digital thread.

PHASE 01

Pre-Feasibility

"Is this project technically and economically viable?"

Fast screening across candidate sites, load profiles, and technology mixes. Answers the go/no-go question in hours instead of weeks, with a defensible economic case.

PHASE 02

Pre-FEED

"What is the optimal project concept?"

Refines the viable concept into a defendable architecture, component sizing, coupling topology, and financial structuring, ready to hand off to FEED or a tender package.

Nine capabilities we're building next.

The current platform handles the core sizing and economics loop. These are the next layers, sequenced with design partners in the beta cohort.

01
AC / DC / hybrid coupling
Full support for AC, DC, and mixed-bus architectures across every configuration.
02
Inverter modelling & control
Realistic inverter behaviour and control strategy modelling, not idealised converters.
03
Hydrogen storage (FC-cell level)
Component-level modelling of the fuel-cell stack, not just black-box HESS capacity.
04
Hydrogen production plants
Electrolysis-based H₂ production alongside grid, PV, and storage.
05
Desalination plants
Coupling water production to energy system outputs, a first-class MENA use case.
06
Battery degradation
Cycle- and calendar-aging built into sizing decisions, not applied as a post-hoc correction.
07
Transactive energy
Multi-agent energy exchange modelling for community and industrial-park scenarios.
08
Tariff strategies
TOU, demand charges, net-metering, feed-in, and hybrid tariffs, configurable per project.
09
Financial model
Bankable cash flow, financing structures, and multi-currency sensitivity built in.

Sequencing and dates to be firmed up with design partners in the beta cohort.

ARD · AI Research Director

Your Energy Systems expert,
available at any hour

ARD is an AI assistant trained on the Enerlytix engine. It can explain results, recommend parameters, answer technical questions, and, in autonomous mode, configure and run analyses on your behalf.

  • Explain what LCOE, NPC, and LPSP mean for your project
  • Recommend GCR, hub height, and battery sizing rationale
  • Compare scenario results and highlight the key tradeoffs
  • Run a full sizing analysis autonomously from a description
ARD · Analysis and Research Director
What GCR should I use for the Dakhla site? We have limited land.
ARD For Dakhla at 23.7°N with fixed-tilt at 25°, a GCR of 0.35–0.45 is a good starting range. Higher GCR increases energy density but adds shading losses, the TEA sensitivity I see for this project shows LCOE is relatively flat between 0.35 and 0.50, so you have room to optimise for footprint without a significant cost penalty.
Run the sizing with GCR 0.40 and report the NPC.
ARD · Autonomous Running sizing analysis with GCR 0.40... Optimal result: PV 2,640 kWp · BESS 8,910 kWh · NPC $9.1M — 5.5% lower than the base case. Scenario saved as "Dakhla GCR 0.40".
